Fawn Andersen, MSCP, LPC

Services: Psychotherapy, Individual and Family Psychoeducation, ISDE

Fawn is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about helping children, teens, and families navigate life's challenges with honesty, compassion, and practical support. She believes everyone deserves to feel understood, empowered, and capable of growth, and works alongside persons and/or families to build lasting skills both inside and outside of therapy.

Since beginning her career in behavioral health in 2013, Fawn has worked across the full continuum of care, including inpatient hospitalization, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, schools, community settings, and outpatient therapy. These experiences have given her a deep understanding of how one’s emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs show up across environments.

Fawn specializes in working with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), substance use, emotional regulation, trauma, and behavioral challenges. She approaches trauma through strengths-based lens and is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE). Her treatment style is collaborative, individualized, and rooted in helping build confidence, resilience, and meaningful connection.

Fawn earned her Master of Science in Community Psychology from Alverno College and is currently pursuing her PhD in Developmental Psychology at Walden University. She also holds a Substance Abuse Counselor-In Training (SAC-IT) credential and has additional training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), reflecting her passion for evidence-based care and lifelong learning.

Above all, Fawn believes therapy should be a place where one feels safe enough to be themselves—without fear of judgment—and where they feel supported as partners throughout the healing process. Whether she is helping a young child learn emotional regulation, supporting a teenager/adult through life's transitions, her goal is to create meaningful change that extends beyond the therapy office.

Outside of work, Fawn enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, hiking Wisconsin trails, paddleboarding, traveling, and finding creative outlets through crafting. She believes that curiosity, adventure, and connection are just as important outside the therapy room as they are within it.
